The coronavirus pandemic is over and that means Bollywood’s Mr.Perfectionist Aamir Khan is back in action and this time on a much bigger scale by moving the remaining shoot of his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha to the beautiful multi-cultured land of Turkey.
Directed by Advait Chandan, the man behind Aamir’s last super-hit film Secret Superstar, Laal Singh Chaddha is an official Hindi remake of the iconic Forrest Gump with touches of Indian history to it. The screenplay is expected to shed light on some of the most important and sensitive incidents from the past but of course in Aamir Khan’s way (or maybe much like Tom Hank’s one)
If insider reports are to be true then there will be some scenes revolving the Babri Masjid as well in Ayodhya, India and how the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi came into power.
Aamir Khan – Laal Singh Chaddha Poster
55 years old, Aamir first came to Turkey in 2017 when he was specially invited by the Culture and Tourism Ministry to promote his film Secret Superstar – which later gained a lot of critical success in the region. On the similar tour, Aamir had also explored the potential of Turkish film industry on the whole and shared his desire to collaborate soon.
Now it seems like the same collaboration is coming to life because according to the official statement given by people from the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry, Aamir will take help of the technical infrastructure, advanced facilities on cinema and the workforce capacity that Turkey’s film industry offers to complete the remaining shoot schedule of Laal Singh Chaddha. However, we are still yet to find out if there is a Turkey related sequence in the film as well or not.
Nevertheless, this film is indeed going to be a big treat for Aamir Khan fans as the superstar will be seen in different avatars essaying the role and journey of Laal Singh Chaddha’s journey spread across decades.
The film also stars Kareena Kapoor in the lead role and it is expected to release next year on Christmas eve.
